Divnogorsk

(Russian: ; IPA: [dʲɪvnɐˈɡorsk]) is a town in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located on the Yenisei River, 40 kilometers (25 mi) southeast of Krasnoyarsk, the administrative center of the krai. Population: 28,272 (2010 Census)

History

Town status was granted to it in 1963.

Administrative and municipal status

Within the framework of administrative divisions, it is, together with seven rural localities, incorporated as the krai town of Divnogorskan administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts. As a municipal division, the krai town of Divnogorsk is incorporated as Divnogorsk Urban Okrug.

Economy

Town's main industrial facility is the Krasnoyarsk Dam on the Yenisei River.
